Welcome to Lorain Preparatory High School!

We are a new tuition-free, public community school serving high school students in Lorain, OH. Lorain Preparatory High School follows a college preparatory academic model and includes a standards-based teaching method with competitive assessments that prepare students for state tests and college entrance exams. Our rigorous academic program exceeds Ohio state standards to provide students with a strong academic foundation and prepare students for college and career. We provide individualized support to ensure all our student's academic needs are met. We are open for students in grades 9-10 for the 2022-23 school year and are expanding to offer 11th grade for 2023-24.
