NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
Lorain Preparatory High School
Pursuant to ORC 3301.0729, there is a limit to the amount of
time in which schools may engage in test preparation for
students; approximately 2% of total instructional hours, with
some exceptions.
The school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide
assistance to the students who need the additional testing
preparation time.
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for
the waiver, and invites the public to provide commentary
and/or opinion.
The Board is required by federal and state law to hold a Public
Hearing to allow for public comment on the use of IDEA Part B
funds.
The hearing was noticed in The Lorain Morning Journal on July 1,
2022, on the School Website, and on the doors of the school.
The Public Hearing is included on the agenda of the
October Board Meeting:
October 27, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern
