Welcome to Lorain Preparatory High School!

We are a tuition-free, public community school to serve high school students in Lorain, OH. Lorain Preparatory High School follows a college preparatory academic model and includes a standards-based teaching method with competitive assessments that prepare students for state tests and college entrance exams. Our rigorous academic program exceeds Ohio state standards to provide students with a strong academic foundation and prepare students for college and career. We provide individualized support to ensure all our students’ academic needs are met.
